Who would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with? Least like?
Most like: The Fourth Doctor from Doctor Who. Obviously! Have you see his Tardis? Being stuck in an elevator with the time traveling Doctor would be awesome.
Least Like: Kanye West. I don't know the guy, it might be interesting, but I'd be afraid that he'd take up all the air. Just sayin'.

And for Neighbor Lauri, here is Osiris. The "other" he-cat. I thought I had a better shot of his cat-kini. He has two white patches on his underbelly that make him look like he's wearing a bikini. Goofy boy likes to sleep like this. Outside. All embarrassing-like.
Pictured : couple of Osiris - goofy and handsome. Also, Zorya's flower basket filled with flowers and herbs from our gardens. We gathered this offering together to put on Zorya's grave in September. She passed to the Summerlands a year ago. Blessed kitty. =^_^=

Do you believe that honesty is the best policy?
YES!!!
Without a doubt, yes.
For me there is no middle ground, you're either honest or you're not. If you lie, hide, cheat, manipulate, twist, avoid... you are lying and are therefore dishonest. Dishonest with others perhaps, but most especially with your own self.
I follow a code of honesty in my life, it is the best policy because it's simple. It's freeing. There is no worry or question or assumption or any room for destructive things like that. I've blogged before about how important truth is to me. I think one of the greatest things you can be is an honest and true person. I really do. It is a remarkable quality.
Sigs and I have raised our children to be honest and to accept honesty without fear. We have taught them and still teach them to accept honesty with love and without judgement. We have an agreement in our home between all four of us that if we are honest with one another there is no confusion and there is no anger. We accept and we work through our human frailties together with love and support. You have to have honesty in order to do that, and this works for us.
For me, truth is important. What a sad waste of life to spend it on un-truths and half-truths and assumptions. There is so much more to life than that. Honesty will keep you uplifted and free and simple. Even if that honesty is at first hard to hear. Once you become used to honesty it becomes very special to you. It is only when you place judgement on honesty and let your own fears and insecurities rule your emotions that honesty becomes problematic.
If you are afraid of yourself it would make sense that you'd be afraid of honesty.
Which do you prefer? City life or country living?
I've lived in both, and I've lived in the extremes of both. From tent to condo. ;)
I've lived near ocean, in mountain, in desert and in plain. I prefer ocean and mountain, btw...
I like both country and city living for different reasons, for the obvious reasons. But for the long haul I'll take the serenity of the mountain country. Any proper Druid would choose to live with the trees!
We don't live quite country yet (we live in a town of sorts, a small borough/village). To me this isn't country living but compared to city living it certainly is. Most folks here consider it country living. Meh - if you have neighbors close-by and at least one nearby grocery and you have no land, that's not country living, imo.
The goal of my family is to go extreme country but with a home. You know what kind of home I want to live in, but I'm the only one that wants to live like a bedouin.
We've found a few more alpaca farms in the vicinity and have been making the rounds and checking them out so we can get to know them, the local alpacas and the farmers.
The nice thing about living out here is that we're an hour or so away from a few cities, specifically Ithaca (our favorite city haunt). We have friends that live up there and we love the atmosphere. So, we kind of have the best of both worlds I think.
